Rainy March

Rain in March .... blechhhh.

Gus is here from West Michigan, spreading his Macker love. I have my summer schedule and it's going to be gloriously busy, but the streets of downtown Springfield to the Hall of Fame love in Belding, Michigan. Applications will soon be available for the Quincy tournament on Memorial Day Weekend.

Good luck to the Drug Court Counselor and Bombshell Translator of dooms, who road trip north today. Be safe!

I have really enjoyed walking in the 'hood lately. It's great therapy. One block at a time, Steph ....

Lately I've been into losing sleep, holes in my teeth, driving with my daughter, cats and dogs living together, getting away, Jimmy John's lunches, Barry Manilow, 10cc and cravings for McDonalds. Not necessarily in that order.

Also had a fantastic time Tuesday night with Anne Cashman and her students at Ellington School. Writing is the best. Ellington School rocks and (Lynette) Rolls!

Rain in February or November is incomparably worse than March rain.

In February it brings thoughts of "Oh crap, it's still winter and this month was already devised to challenge even a saint's faith!"

In November it brings thoughts of "Winter is almost here and it's gonna be cold and ugly and this month was already devised to challenge even a saint's faith!"

But in March...

"Spring is so close I can feel it and even if it gets cold or yucky, I see the trees getting ready to burst forth and after all, it's the month that gives hope even to the vilest sinner!"

:)

Even the vilest of sinners can enjoy the rain in spring. Wine makes everything better. And walking 2 or three miles with us should be an atainable goal Steph. Wouldn't it be great if Woody could join Lucy on our walks!
