Saw some of the QHS boys game last night on Senior Night and gotta hand it to Goo for pronouncing 3 billion names without a hitch.
Nice tribute to Mr. Ellerman, as well.
Then went home and watched "Life Is Beautiful," about a Jewish father, his wife and young son during World War II. The movie is in Italian and uses subtitles, which takes some getting used to.
But it sort of grabs you about a third of the way through, and the end will wrench your heart and make you laugh.
That's two good ones in a row, "Once" and "Life Is Beautiful."

You forgot "Blazing Saddles" at Brei's
Gotta part with you on "Life Is Beautiful." I thought it was painfully bad. Kind of like "The Day the Clown Cried," except "Life Is Beautiful" actually got released.
