We had the full band together for the first time in quite a while, and good grief was it fun. Wireless is the way to go ... did you know it takes about 15 seconds to run from one end of the second floor to the other?
Thanks to all who made it out. We raised money for Quanada, got our message out about their services, and everybody had fun. Special shutouts to The Mighty One and his much better half (much more on him in upcoming posts), QPD CSI, the other gal who keeps forgetting to change her name, all the courthouse gang, just everybody.
Pat Cornwell, who was with Chris Thursday night, then showed up at 1 p.m. Friday to keep setting up.

The Blue Healers were spectacular as usual .... they are a band which could do some damage, in my opinion.

Bailey - thanks. It takes guts for a young person to get out there and play in front of friends and family. What a great voice! Go see Pat at Vegas Music and maybe we can get you hooked up with a nice guitar to boot!

What exactly is a music teacher of doom --- or anything else of "doom". You seem to be about the only person that uses that terminology. Is it catching on? What does it mean? Are you doomed?

The music WAS freakin' amazing, wasn't it!!??!!?? The music scene in Quincy is finally starting to pick up again... and not a moment too soon!
Could this be the origin of this and that of doom? From Wikepedia:

What a night! Excellent show by all who volunteered their time to raise money for a great cause. The new set up at Back Waters is amazing. The second floor puts you up close and personal with the performers. Great use of space! The high energy show the Funions put on was fantastic. Now I see how Dirk stays so skinny. The sound was really top notch. Thanks to Pat Cornwell for bringing out the "Big Guns" for this show. Excellent performances by everyone involved. The Mrs. and I as well as our little Horatio wanna be and AJS had a great time and are looking forward to May!
