Comcast fired

Shey Fey fired Comcast today after yet another rate increase.

I believe we are looking at DirecTV and another Internet provider.

That means a new email address and some other changes are on the way ....

I feel your pain... I've been a half pound away from pulling the trigger on Comcast at least 4 times. I just can't justify the extra cost and hassle with dish. I gotta have my History Channel and broadband for my PS3. Let me know what you decide and maybe seeing it first hand will cause me to let the hammer fall.

I remember when cable was only $15 per month!!! Yes, I realize that dinosaurs roamed the earth back then, but Comcast's prices are ridiculous. Who needs the 10 mega-whatever speed? DISH Network & ATT are looking very attractive, but the idea of installing a satellite dish in this weather doesn't turn me on. Maybe this spring...

why don't you just get yahoo or gmail account? Then you don't have to change it every time you change ISPs?

We are ending up with DirecTV, free showtime for 3 months, all free install/equipment. Getting $100 visa debit card for signing up before dec 23!!!

Now on to ATT. They have to come out and put back in the phone lines/box that I cleared from the house when we moved in. That will be free. I have to install a phone jack and the DSL modem that I bought at Staples today for a total of $40 after rebate/returned item.... ;) Good karma I think.

Just being free of Comcast is SO refreshing.
