Two Places

We were fortunate in Quincy to dodge a pretty nasty storm yesterday. It careened just south of us and left a trail of ice, slush and debris.

My sister and dad live in Louisville, which got smacked hard by the storm. Judging from the photos, they'll be cleaning up for a while down there.

My brother, on the other hand, lives in Phoenix and is still pinching himself about the Cardinals.

Dealing with 70 degree weather must be tough, too ....

It took me an hour to drive from Wentzville to Warrenton last night.... normally a 25 minute drive.

Agreed. We were in StL Monday night, Tuesday, and Wednesday and it was a friggin mess. But it always seems to be a big mess there when it snows, no matter how much they get.

Last night was gorgeous in Quincy .... cold but with a light snow, a postcard.

And ... the pond ice was fantastic this afternoon!

Not only will the cleanup in Louisville take months, now we are also without power...
